Great creative environment, but lacks professionalism
Pros
Cool people and cool work, clients are clients (ie, big corporations) but generally the folks that work here are genuine, creative, fun to be around and they do great work. Great place to learn a lot as a creative but really for personal growth and development - the attrition at mid management level is consistent for a reason (not really anywhere to go at a certain point)
Cons
A bit clique-y, and frankly sometimes areas where a baseline of professionalism and candor should be instilled, regardless of the industry a company as creative and artistic as this one exists in, are forgone in an attempt to appear cool or authentic, but really it comes off as contrived and corny. It's a job - sometimes it's good to act like it! I don't want to call it mismanaged but I do think that leadership should remember that they are running a business with P&L when times are good and not just when projects or clients don't pan out. Sometimes it felt like a fantasy land with the money spent in any area you could look - comp in general, travel, expenses, etc - this industry costs a lot of money to deliver good work but sometimes it felt like a bit much.
