      Overall Not Bad, but Need to Reduce Favouritism

      Pros

      Small organisation, things are organised and pretty transparent, flat hierarchy, good culture, work-life balance, flexible.

      Cons

      CEO is a "Chief Everything Officer". Many things are dependent on him, insufficient delegation. Obvious favouritism even many choose not to say - CEO is a French, and he treats French staff better than others.

      Great Projects - Supportive Team - Excellent Industry Reputation

      Pros

      At ProQuest you get to learn from some exceptionally skilled consultants while creating some excellent functionality for clients within a supportive environment. They are very conscious about the environment they are creating for their employees, always striving to improve and receive feedback when they don't get it perfect.

      Cons

      As a consulting organisation you it is a different role to being an internal employee for an organisation using Salesforce, and you are only working on the project for its lifecycle. When multiple projects are happening close together it can a busy and challenging time but the project management team are super supportive and and very conscious of keeping a good work-life balance despite this.

      Pros

      All projects are run using SCRUM Agile. Met a lot of interesting clients. They were supportive of me getting my certifications.

      Cons

      Lies, deceit, and screwing their customers out of every dime they can get. The last 11 months of my employment were absolute torture. The upper management had no idea how to manage people or projects. They are ex Java developers trying to tell functional consultants how to do their jobs. They were overly clinical in their critiques/feedback and were not constructive. When I'd ask "how can I do this better?" they didn't have a clear answer. The original CEO was a fabulous salesperson, but had no idea how to run a business (which is why he sold it). He was untrustworthy and overly emotional in his business decisions.
