Pros
More than enough free trainings to maintain licensure, vision/mission worthy of support, skilled clinical staff who care and are passionate about the work
Cons
Poor leadership at director and executive director levels, mixed messages about expectations, lack of transparency, compensation well below industry standards, top-down command-and-control leadership approaches that are presented as "helping" staff, no autonomy surrounding scheduling or case load management, high pressure and focus on meeting productivity standards which are not based on industry standard measures - overwhelming, burnout and turnover high, morale low, always cutting corners that sacrifice quality care, poor reputation in the community both organizationally and specifically directors, tattling among support staff is encouraged, lots of passive aggression, manipulation and enmeshment within directorships, no supervision for licensure, rigid adherence to outdated, silly policies, capricious decision-making with no effort given to collaborating with supervisors or direct care staff.
