Good experience!

Pros

Great group of people in all departments. Because it's a small company you all become like family. There's great opportunity to do a little bit of everything (and sometimes you have to in a small company to get things done). Flexible schedule in case you need to take time off, or are going to be late. Very open to ideas on how to change and better processes.

Cons

Very little formal training. Mainly just learn as you go. CEO has strong hand in day to day business, so micromanaging was a little overwhelming, but seemed to be getting much better.

Pros

Being a small company, you can get input and feedback quickly. It allows a certain amount of freedom depending on your role. Flexible work schedule, very family friendly if you need to miss time. Great new work location and office.

Cons

Results driven, regardless of the reason. Family owned, so not a lot of differing opinions. Micro-Management but expected at a small company

Morale Killers - Stay Away!

Pros

Some really great people who amazingly continue to work there. Interesting work and a small amount of freedom in your schedule. A good stepping stone only.

Cons

There's nothing worse than a morale killer at the office, except when that person is cheap and owns the company. Four women fired on Valentine's Day - could you be any more heartless? Micro management and constant change of direction due to the same poor decisions over and over. Never listens to realistic recommendations or owns any mistakes, but he'll yell and scream over minutiae. Incredible that they are still in business with this curmudgeon at the helm.
