Its a Pass Through Shell

Pros

It has a couple of contracts that bring in work, mostly a pass through for other companies.

Cons

Its a shell company for a government agency so they can pass contracts through for other companies. It has no real capabilities or capacity. Powertrain claims all the past performance to get more contracts. Pay is not good and the owners are very stingy with benefits too.

Pros

Some excellent managers on the team Your peers are a great group of individuals You'll learn a lot of good skills that will help you get hired elsewhere

Cons

This company is built on nepotism and that definitely has its drawbacks (no one is going to fire their friend's kid, their best friend, etc). Overtime is often expected - people have pulled all nighters and, honestly, no job is worth that.
