      Learn to navigate office politics, but feel undervalued

      Pros

      You will learn how to become better at dealing with office politics that do not affect you, and how to deal with stress

      Cons

      They do not care about their field technicians. You are only a number they have interns writing five star reviews to try to balance out the field technicians one star reviews. They are giving sign on bonuses to try to keep people around because they just need warm bodies to fill quotas

      Pros

      Medical Dental are excellent, company vehicles, corporate chaplain, subsidized vending machines, Company clothing, company phone, credit card. Strong Safety Department.

      Cons

      lack of focus/communication from Middle Management. Lack of communication/relationships with other departments. Very disorganized and rushed feeling. Reporting systems are too detailed to manage budget and schedule. Some departments are very "cliquie". Lack of training opportunites.

      Pros

      Talented engineering staff with good reputation among clients. Growth and reputation of PowerSecure are beneficial to subsidiary companies, but management is still done completely in-house.

      Cons

      Office is still run like a "Mom and Pop" shop, despite huge growth - no office management, organization, or professionalism.
