Pros
Pollination attracts some great people, who are super smart, and passionate to solve big challenges like climate change and nature loss. Dynamic workplace that allows you to work closely with clients and deliver innovative solutions
Cons
Pollination's 'coaching' system - where someone 'senior' mentors someone more 'junior' has very little oversight. If you have a bad or disengaged coach, you can be left to flounder. Pollination expanded very quickly, and there seemed to be little thought as to the levels at which people were hired. Some Associates and Associate Directors are hired at a level well below their capabilities. Many directors or executive directors were hired beyond their capabilities. This all culminated in redundancies, and served as a reminder that in the corporate world, loyalty never flows from the company to employees - to the point that Pollination made several staff redundant the week before Christmas.
