      Well let’s see, Office is in a nice location on the rare occasions you can get out to lunch.

      Cons

      The mass exodus of experienced American nationals that have left in the past 30 months is astonishing. We are not talking about entry level entry level position here, SVP’s, VP’s, Directors and Executive Managers. Some of which were part of the United Stated Holding Company and Company officers. The experience level of replacement ex-pat Italians and non tire industry personnel makes us a very inexperienced company.

      Pros

      Pirelli is a company where your job title is often just a suggestion meaning you have a wide range of responsibilities which is great for someone who is just beginning their professional career. Depending on your department you can have some interesting perks if you are interested in the automotive industry.

      Cons

      The corporate culture is one that is very political. You will suffer if you don't speak Italian and if you are not Italian you will only move up so far. Management insists that they are going to "Americanize" the US operations but it never seems to actually happen. It is extremely difficult to get a promotion and many people leave after 2-3 years to seek a promotion elsewhere.
