Pros

Very experienced workforce, none of whom are particularly appreciated by the managers. 24/7 operation offers flexible work options. Employees tend to supoort one another, although there are plenty of "clicks".

Cons

The company wants worker bees: do what you're told, when you're told to do it and don't ask questions. Non-competitive salaries. Terrible 401K program. Unapproachable senior managers, particularly in HR.

Pros

The company provides good health and dental insurance benefits. They also have a 401k plan and an employee stock purchase program.

Cons

There is a disconnect between local (Boise) and Corporate managements. The overall moral in Boise is incredibly low and it seems little is being done to rectify the issue. They only focus on Customer Satisfaction and don't realize that they need to keep their employees satisfied in their jobs as well in order to get effective productive work out of them.

Could Be a Great Place to Work, But Will Never Be

Pros

It's a respectable job in a high-tech industry. Most employees are very good at what they do. The parking lot is clean. Free flu shots!

Cons

You will make less money every year because raises are never given. According to the top executives, there is never a good time in this industry, so they must always be "cautious". But that's generally considered an excuse not to reward and invest in their employees, and as a result morale is always low. Benefits also get worse every year. There is also a tendency to do things the way they've always done it, which can be very counterproductive. Also, because things are being done on the cheap, there is no redundancy at most every position, which is a considerable burden for employees who suddenly have to work two jobs for an extended amount of time.
