Pros
- Autonomy. - No desk costs. - Incentives and decent commission structure. - Cool office space and fun internal events if you are a social butterfly. - Some leaders are sympathetic, supportive and people orientated. - Awesome colleagues.
Cons
- Obvious favoritism. - Some of the leaders abuse their power, bully their teams and manage others based on their feelings and not facts. - Small problems are blown out of proportion whilst big problems are ignored unless if it's money related. - Leadership always sides with whoever presents themselves as the best emotional victim or whoever their friend/lover is in a dispute between employees which is unfair. - To an extent staff is treated as disposable and you are only as good as your last deal.
