Pros

None really. The company sucked the life out of me. Was it just a horrible dream?

Cons

Where do I start? Websites constantly going down, their awards are a joke and clients are being conned in to handing their money over, far too many events and titles that are average at best, and a inner circle of top management who bully staff, set ludicrous targets not based on any research, and a CEO and CFO who are unapproachable, untrustworthy, and totally uninterested in constructive views. The culture is awful. Speak out of line and you are toast.

Pros

You’ll learn valuable info on investment strategies and the financial sector. And you’ll learn a lot about the sales manager sex life, as she likes to loudly share it with the entire office for hours on end. There are some nice and knowledgeable people, and after work Friday drinks can be relaxing. I guess that if you get along with the right people, you can enjoy it.

Cons

It’s a strange place with a high staff turnover, as many other reviewers wrote. There is practically no communication between teams and often not even inside your team. You can feel the low morale, at least in the Cardiff office. They move you between very different projects so that you’ll struggle to meet their objectives. The bonus scheme is a con: targets are stretched to keep you away from it. On top of that, the office is a health hazard. Dust piles up in desks and you have to clean yours. It’s located in Capital Tower, where the air conditioner only has two settings: freezing cold or boiling hot. With the air con stuck in subzero during winter months, I had to figure out how to wear multiple layers of warm clothes with the mandatory collared shirt and suit trousers. I was ill for one third of my time there, with colds or the flu. Water available to drink in the communal kitchen tastes bad and a senior staff member recently confided to me that it’s sourced from toilet water (!). There was always someone sick, either in the office or off sick – but management doesn’t care. I am convinced that a big chunk of the positive reviews in here are fake.

Pros

Some really lovely people work there

Cons

One of the most unpleasant, target-driven cultures ever, and I'm a sales person. The CEO is a monster with no social skills and less management ability. The worst thing is they flagrantly fabricate their subscription numbers to get advertisers to pay more. Dishonest con-men. Don't believe the good reviews, they clearly release a few of them every time there are one or two bad ones.
