Great Work-Life Balance With A Strict No Weekend Work Policy
Pros
I think the best thing about working with Packt is the Good Work-Life Balance that they have. You have the option of remote/work-from-home opportunities, with reasonable working hours. Weekends are respected with absolutely no need to be present unless you would like to voluntarily catch up with an external stakeholder who can only connect over the weekends - something which my previous manager (who unfortunately isn't with Packt anymore) frowned upon, insisting that weekends are supposed to be Strictly No-Work-Days. Also, since Packt Packt operates in the technology publishing and e-learning space, we are the first ones to get our hands on the latest content on emerging technologies in the field of software development trends, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data science, and other technical domains.
Cons
There aren't any cons per se. I do know some other teams that had to be restructured, necessitating an unfortunate but inevitable job redundancy, but that was the need of the hour.
