Pros
Competitive salary, relatively consistent workload, hybrid schedule options, convenient office locations.
Cons
PMs are bad at communicating deadlines and expectations. PMs often do not properly delegate work, leaving some people overloaded and others without billable work. Racist and sexist comments are common, and no one in authority does anything to stop it. Managers talk politics loudly with each other and clients. Former owner still shows up and acts like he owns the place, getting people to work on projects he's doing after retirement. After I left I heard they sold to a big company with private equity as majority holders.
