Pros
Actually no pros about this company
Cons
Very much work oriented, money oriented management. no career growth.
Pros
Origin is always a good place to start the career. Good Work culture, Talented colleagues , and Encouraging Management. Good work life balance
Cons
3 Months Notice Period, other than that I don't find any downsides.
Pros
1) If you show initiative to learn and do work, you might be given the kind of tasks you enjoy 2) Most of the managers will listen to you if you raise any concern 3) You don't need to take much risks, you can come, do your work properly for 8 hours and leave without much hassle
Cons
1) Exact 8 hours requirement every day could be made somewhat flexible, as employees stay back anyways during critical deliveries. If I work for 9 hours today, I could be allowed go to in 7 hours tomorrow. 2) Hire more people instead of giving work only to those who do. PM team is sometimes very cruel in allotting work. Some PM team members suddenly come up behind and watch you, as though this will make render or collab any faster. Micromanaging is annoying. 3) There is timesheet tracking, but some don't do much work. Tracking needs to be more efficient and non-intrusive. 4) Some seniors/reviewers sometimes give very contradicting review comments and there's no way for the GD/ID to raise this issue and this ends up reflecting poorly on the GD/ID and not the reviewer. 5) Proper KT before starting any project and proper documentation of standards for every project is required. These are maintained only for a few high-profile projects. Half of the time, GD and ID don't have any clue on what they need to do but the blame falls on them. 6) Once you leave the company, it's very difficult to contact HR to get your exp letter. Some may get it easily. But for others, it's very difficult to get a response. 7) You sometimes have to spend half your time negotiating to get time to work. As the person doing the work, I should just be able to do my work.
