      Pros

      Decent compensation package. Engaged and approachable management. Very inclusive culture. Pretty good technology. The product team could deliver when focused and prioritized.

      Cons

      The solution struggled to scale in the large enterprise. The product roadmap was very slippery. They fit better in the small to medium commercial space. Leadership is easily distracted.

      Pros

      I started here a few months back and have been loving it! It is a startup that requires work but your efforts and impact never go unnoticed and the opportunity to still have work-life balance. I previously worked at a larger company before and I can honestly say Orca has a lot of their processes together for being the size they are. My management is super supportive and involved and everyone is always willing to help or jump on a call to assist. Updates to the product almost seem to be being pumped out weekly. Healthcare benefits are great which is an added bonus!

      Cons

      at this time, no pressing cons. Improvement on the product can always be made same as at any software company.

      * Decision-making can be slow due to multiple management layers and unclear ownership in some areas. * Work-life balance may be challenging, especially during high-pressure periods. * The company often tries to move at startup speed while maintaining enterprise-level processes, which can result in additional bureaucracy and reduced agility. * Cross-team dependencies can make execution and prioritization more difficult. * Organizational growth has created coordination and communication challenges between teams.

      Management: Constant changes and not clear roadmap, sometimes misaligned Mindset: reactive, focused on following others instead of innovating Culture: tendency to blame R&D rather than take management accountability

      Salary is paid on time.

      Cons

      Beware & be forewarned, management and leadership extremely immature, unstable product with lot of bugs, very high attrition, sales leadership has very little or no idea about sales, only approach is agreeing to price that the customer asks, extreme micro-management, sales leaders & other people do parallel conversations with customers undermining account executives, very very poor post sales support, very high customer churn.

      Pros

      The product is genuinely great and you can feel the product market fit in the day to day. The culture makes it easy to do your best work. You actually get ownership, people hold themselves accountable across orgs, things are shared openly, and upper management truly cares. For the pace the company moves at, the work life balance is surprisingly solid.

      Cons

      It takes some discipline to stay focused when lots of customer activity and new deals hit at the same time, but it is a good problem to have.
