Pros

Being a Managed Service Provider you will be exposed to many different issues which will help in your development as an IT technician.

Cons

Looking to hire people at the lowest price possible, but then doesn't facilitate their training in any way. It's up to the co-workers to assist in the development of their skill set. Steady turnover of employees. They come in, learn what they can, then leave for a better environment. Owner micromanages, but doesn't provide leadership.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings. I have to say that because the negativity in this anonymous post, I get the sense that this was made with ill intent by a disgruntled ex-employee or a competitor. However, while we don’t agree with what that you have stated, we do appreciate the opportunity to take a deeper look into the remarks that you have made. We pay our employees competitively and provide frequent generous raises for those that quickly excel and show awesome customer service skills. Hands-on training, classroom, and on-line training is included and available to all our employees. In addition, when a new employees starts they receive personal one on one training before they start working with any client. In addition, we have a database of hundreds of SOPs with step by step instructions for doing anything from setting up a printer to more complex tasks such as setting up a server. Turnover in the tech field can be high, but we are fortunate to have employees that have been with us on average three to five years with some over 10 years. As a long standing Corona, CA based family business, we have employed many people over the last 20 years and we take pride in our reputation and only want our employees to have a positive work experience. Based on the daily feedback we receive from our clients through ticket satisfaction surveys, our employees enjoy what they do and the place that they work at. Perhaps in the future, bringing up your concerns in a professional manner so that they can be addressed in person would be recommended so that you can work through any issues. Best regards, Frank Barbarossa Founder and President Onsite Computing, Inc.

Pros

I get to work remotely and only meet with clients in person sometimes for projects. Since starting two years ago, Ive been promoted multible times starting from an entry level tech to now managing a team and getting to work on any projects that interest me. The owner likes to promote people within the company which I appreciate. Most everyone is willing to help each other and are easy to work with. My pay has increased significantly and I have also had an increase in benefits. Managment is flexible with me needing to take time off for family vactions, kids school events, and personal stuff.

Cons

I wish there was more of a diverse team as it is mostly guys. But this seems to be my experience a lot in IT. Also, there is a senior staff peron that does not like to share how to do certain work. This can be really annoying.
