Recent changes in leadership and organisational restructuring have significantly damaged team morale and future potential. Communication around big strategic decisions lack transparency, creating an unsettling and high stress environment. Repeated rounds of restructuring were handled poorly. Official assurances about stability were contradicted by further organisational changes very soon after. Leadership communication needs work. Some unsuitable people in leadership positions who are more interested in covering their back and playing politics than supporting their team. Expect pivots, deadlines and commitments that don't match team capacity. A major shift in the core product strategy and commercial focus means that long term career progression, promotions, and pay reviews are currently frozen. Overall it functions ok short term, but it is currently too unstable for anyone considering a long term tech career.
