- the company offers plenty of choices of food and hot/cold drinks that are time consuming with minimum amount of staff to manage all tasks (sometimes 2 people working in the shop to be the till, prepare food, table service, clearing tables and washing up). And that was pre-covid times.
- in order to maximise profit, they ask all managers to send staff home earlier if the shops are not too busy.
- Some managers are rude to the point of making many staff members leave or request to be transferred. And there's one particular shop manager notorious for doing that, but the company just turns a blind eye since the shop reaches target and makes money.
- Apart from the co-founders, the other high level management consists of arrogant and pretentious people who barely acknowledge staff unless if it's to demand something. You can only see them smiling for photo ops or marketing promo, but on a daily basis it's just a condescending attitude towards staff.
