Pros

Good company perks like gifts and dinners, lunches.

Cons

I recently had the opportunity to work at NobleOak and I must express my deep concern regarding the prevailing work environment within the organization. My experience revealed a company where nepotism and favoritism overshadowed meritocracy, resulting in numerous detrimental consequences. In this review, I will outline the major issues I encountered during my tenure. One of the most striking aspects of NobleOak is the pervasive presence of nepotism and favoritism. It became evident that most employees were related to each other or had previously worked together in different companies. This interconnectedness created an environment where personal connections took precedence over qualifications and skills when it came to hiring decisions. As a result, the company suffered from a severe lack of skilled employees, which greatly hindered overall productivity and performance. Another distressing characteristic of NobleOak is the inconsistent allocation of roles and the absence of clear direction. Employees, including team leaders, were frequently moved between various positions without any discernible plan or consideration for their expertise. This haphazard approach to staffing not only hindered individual professional growth but also led to a lack of cohesion and effectiveness within teams. Additionally, the administrative team leader, who seemed ill-equipped for the role, demonstrated a clear lack of understanding and competence, raising concerns about the organization's ability to perform critical functions. A concerning aspect of NobleOak is the apparent lack of accountability within the company. Despite numerous complaints against the administrative team leader, who conveniently happens to be the partner of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), no action has been taken. This situation perpetuates a culture of impunity, where employees are discouraged from speaking out against inequities and wrongdoing. Such an environment erodes trust, dampens morale, and stifles any hope of a fair and just workplace. Furthermore, NobleOak lacks the necessary processes and supportive structures that are crucial for efficient operations. The absence of standardized processes and templates creates confusion and inconsistency, negatively impacting productivity and overall performance. Moreover, the client service team, responsible for meeting customer needs, operates without adequate support, jeopardizing customer satisfaction and tarnishing the company's reputation. The CEO's priority of cost-cutting over workload management is a shortsighted approach that has far-reaching consequences. By overburdening employees and neglecting the hiring of new staff, the company puts excessive strain on its workforce. This not only leads to decreased productivity and employee well-being but also undermines the organization's ability to deliver quality services to its customers. Most of the company reviews are left by existing employees who are working for years. Their focus is on getting awards only.

Pros

NobleOak is a great company if you want the chance to and develop your skills as there is a lot of internal opportunity. The 4 values; Nobility, Simplicity, Adaptability & Delivery are evident in the positive culture and atmosphere. When you work at NobleOak you have plenty of support, not only to do complete your business as usual role, but support in developing your skills outside of your role to reach your goals.

Cons

Not necessarily a con as NobleOak has existing and relevant employee benefits, but definitely an area to grow and improve is providing more benefits to their employees including remote working and more flexible working hours.

Pros

Some nice work people there Close to public transport, good location.

Cons

Can be very unprofessional and if someone within leadership doesn’t like you personally, you’re out in a heartbeat. There are a lot of personal relationships within the company whereby people are in relationships with others which can make providing feedback about one to the other very difficult to do.
