Worst leadership team I've ever experienced

Pros

The CEO, while completely devoid of any real power and although he turns a blind eye while the rest of his C suite and senior management team run his brilliant idea into the ground, genuinely cares about his people. The people, with the exception of senior leadership and above, are truly what make this company. They put their entire heart and soul into their work and are overall very tight-knit.

Cons

Alex had a great idea and a bleeding heart for his customers, but ultimately is completely out of touch with how his COO (who openly undermines most of his decisions) is running the company into extinction. The culture among senior leadership and the C suite is very "boys club" -esque - think actual calendar schedules for 2 pm happy hours where all the men congregate in one office and throw back scotch until it reeks of liquor and they can no longer function well enough to comprehend emails. If you're a cute girl or you buy into the boys club, you'll go far here. Title inflation is alive and well at Ordermark. Benefits are not as advertised and come with MANY caveats - the only company outings are drinks they pay for when they let someone go, they never hosted a single lunch and learn in my time there, monthly team happy hours are just after hour pizza and beer dinners in the office, PTO is NOT unlimited, their "Ordermark Cares" program is not legally a non-profit, no open office floor plan (cubicles and offices), no match for the 401k, and so much more. LESS than 10% of this "tech company"'s staff are engineers - heavily sales-focused company. Transparency is non-existent. They are treading water and running out of runway QUICKLY - they cancelled their C series before the pandemic hit and have done three rounds of layoffs in two months.

Bad energy and horrible people

Pros

Salary was pretty good and benefits. Met some cool people that have become my friends.

Cons

Very bad energy radiates from this company. Management is racist and sexist. It is boys club and women's voices are not heard. CEO is kind, but I question his leadership skills if he allows disrespectful discriminatory management to continue to work here.
