Toxic Work Environment, *Proceed with Caution*

Pros

You will acquire experience extremely quickly (you don't have a choice). You will start right away (at HQ) because they are desperate to fill a position. The benefits are standard and you do get PTO (if you are allowed to use it). If you are related to management, you will get to use a lot of your PTO. You will learn extremely fast regarding how things are run there. You will also see every aspect of the business because the company operates out of a small (but nice) office and out of your home when you are not at HQ. If you justify the need for a tool to do your work, it will most likely be provided to you. You must then demonstrate its value within weeks before it is taken from you. Everyone, other than management, is usually very nice, smart, and hard working (unless they are a spy for management). They will be the reason work is bearable and you will be sad when they leave unexpectedly.

Cons

Terrifying and hostile (HQ) work environment. If you will notice, the positive reviews here are of locations other than headquarters, far away from management. You will be belittled, you will be lectured, you will be micromanaged, you will be threatened, you will be forced to leave. Unless you are a friend of/ or are related to management, you will not be trusted. You will be be afraid to enter the office 10 minutes late. You will be afraid to make a small human error. Expect weekend phone calls. You can also forget lunch breaks and while you're at it, cancel that plan you had after work. Failures of the company will be your fault. Your successes will either not be acknowledged or they will be met with, "OK now do more." This is partly because there is no training. You will not be given support for your efforts. Even if you are a "self-starter," you will not be shown where to put the key to the ignition (so to speak). Do not listen to any of the promises given to you and if you are offered anything, get it in writing and have it signed. Take everything with a grain of salt. Read any contracts carefully. If lucky, your bonus will be a gift card. They will lie to you and you will also be told to lie for them. Your expertise will not be utilized; it is management's way or the highway, literally. Most at HQ (not on an external contract) do not last more than a year. When you leave, it will be quickly and the blame will be placed on you. The turnover rate is the highest I have ever seen; this is ranges from young professionals to industry veterans. Work will be terrifying.

Pros

They will hire you very quickly if you have a Clearance. You don't even have to know the position or have any experience.

Cons

They are very nice until you put in your resignation. They walked me off the job before my 2 weeks were up and told me they would pay me, but when last pay day came around they did not pay me. They also did not pay me for that day they walked me out. This Company is a joke and will not pay you if you decide to resign.
