      A Remote Setup That Cannot Hide a Deeply Unpleasant Work Atmosphere

      Working remotely is the only benefit available.

      Cons

      - Netgate has an unpleasant work atmosphere. - Employees are left mentally and emotionally drained because of the extremely stressful and toxic conditions. - The environment does not support learning or growth since leadership is poor at communication and consistently fails to provide proper guidance or meaningful feedback. - An open door policy is claimed, but in reality, concerns are ignored and communication is one-sided.

      From my experience. Nothing. You're better off staying away.

      Cons

      Employees are constantly being abused, yelled at, and exploited by the managers here. They make a lot of unreasonable demands, but neglect to provide any support, and they fail to acknowledge employees for doing a good job, but are quick to berate them as soon as they make a mistake.

While I personally have never heard anyone getting yelled at or berated, I certainly wish you would have expressed your concerns to HR so we could have made your time with us a pleasant one.       Zero Job Security

      Pros

      Semi friendly team, some New Year chocolates, and worthless gifts.

      Cons

      There is no job security. Middle managers only accuse people. Absenteeism is rampant. It is impossible to progress in the company. No feedback is given to the employees from the managers and you only find out one morning that you have been fired from the company without any reason.
