Beautiful, clean, and safe work environment.

Cons

Mistakes are met with belittlement and embarrassment. Witnessed violence in forms of yelling and throwing of objects. Fellow workers are not nice at all and managers care too much about their Forbes ratings than the treatment and well-being of their associates.

The resort is beautiful and most of the associates are friendly.

Cons

The owners are terrible people. They expect you to do twice the work on half the pay. Managers and other salaried staff are always constant targets that get laid off or pay cut. Unless you are looking for an hourly entry level job during school breaks, etc. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Horrible culture!! Everyone lives in fear of being fired (which is a very real possibility.) Most employees were laid off for Covid-19 reasons and the company decided not to hire them back, but to hire new employees at a lower rate. The excuse I was given was that "I could not have any schedule restrictions anymore." (I worked 6+ days a week during busy season and those restrictions were fine for the past 2 years.) So basically a family resort no longer accomodates employees having a family. You should NOT rely on Nemacolin for a long term career. You should also take note, all of these great reviews on here are by upper management and directors. Most if them no longer work at Nemacolin.
