Pros

Good fit for cisgendered white males who live on the mainline and play golf.

Cons

Poor/artificial culture. Underground politics. HR operates as an extension of the partners and doesn't support employees meaningfully. High turnover - with even partners leaving. Lack of deep expertise or focus.

Pros

Remote work. PTO isn't too bad.

Cons

It's been sad to see what has been happening at Nav over the last couple of years. The entire senior leadership team has completely turned over, and the leaders who cared about people are gone. The ones here only care about growing the business at any cost. Nav fired a bunch of people in February and then told those of us that were left that we're the "chosen ones". That's poor wording. That was told to us in a meeting where the CEO couldn't be bothered to attend. Really? You get rid of 20% of your people and you can't be there to talk to the ones that are left? Heartless. Then there was a launch of a "cultural manifesto". We're asked to be brave, which is a joke as if you mention any concerns things get made pretty difficult for you. This is a dying company.

Pros

Very talented junior staff...most get smart enough to get out fast.

Cons

Leadership. False and misleading claims about being a family. Rob K is toxic. He most recently fired his long term management team and good friends/loyalest employees. He is a catastrophe. He is the classic mediocre wealthy white man. Gets all the business for the organization through his country club connections. Uses the company to cover his monthly minumums at the club.
