      Pros

      The employees are all educated, professional, and helpful. Native has some fantastic people on their team.

      Cons

      The company does not care about their employees. They hired a plethora of people only to fire many of them only months later. They went through two “downsizings” in a months time because they are struggling to remain profitable due to poor planning and management. The company is not straightforward with employees.

      Pros

      There are opportunities to learn multiple techniques spanning multiple discipline that relate to the microbiome including microbiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. Everyday there is something new and exciting to work on and opportunities for you to get involved in these projects. The group of people that work there are fun and great to get along with.

      Cons

      It is a startup so you can expect a lot of work to go around for everyone and for it to be very fast paced. Sometimes timelines seem very tight, but they are achievable.

      Pros

      Leading R&D team, a lot of learning opportunities, cross functional R&D spanning microbiology to computer science makes for interesting learning, very product oriented, very customer oriented, visionary platform that actually works.

      Cons

      Heavy, heavy work load, short time lines, this place requires a lot of sacrifice. Management is very demanding and at times not best communicators.
