Pros
The people are the best part of working at Narvar. Smart, helpful colleagues who actually take the time to explain things and collaborate across teams. Coming from a non-engineering background, I've never felt out of place asking questions — there's a real culture of teaching and lifting each other up.
Work-life balance is genuinely respected. Calls and deadlines are reasonable, time off is honored, and there's no badge of honor around overworking. Managers trust you to manage your own time, which is refreshing.
Career growth has been a strong point for me. The work spans interesting areas — shipping protection, claims analytics, vendor management, media revenue — so you get exposure to multiple parts of the post-purchase ecosystem. There's also room to pick up new skills (SQL, BigQuery, automation) on the job, and leadership encourages it.
Compensation is competitive for the role and market, and the benefits are solid. The remote/flexible setup works well.
The product itself is interesting — post-purchase logistics is a space with real customers, real revenue, and meaningful problems to solve, not just shiny tech for the sake of it.
Cons
Like any growing company, processes and tooling are still maturing in places, and cross-functional alignment can take effort. Nothing unusual for a company at this stage.
