Pros

They are one of the major players in the mobile television production business so they do deal with all of the networks as well as the smaller production companies so that gets you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and events.

Cons

As an employee there you are treated just like their trucks, as a machine with no feelings or personal life. Not as a person that makes the company succeed. There is no consideration for the many, many hours that are put in to make sure the events run well. Its a "what have you done for me lately" attitude. It's the people that make NEP a success and you surely aren't made to feel like the management share that idea at all. Their company motto is just for show. It's not how they really operate.

Pros

See the world, attend some of the largest events in the world, be part of a team, advancement opportunities, travel, travel perks, ongoing training, benefits on top of benefits.

Cons

Not really any. There's lots of travel and long hours, and some of it is very physical, but none of that is a surprise.

Pros

Many talented co-workers, there are some people who have been working for television for years and still in the game, so there is a lot to learn from. Some rules they adhere very well which is good from my experience. Many new technologies are embraced which makes most projects fresh experiences. So, lots to learn and a good challenge! Met some great people there. The pay seems okay. (Basically, this is between you and the employer, how much is one willing to ask?) Some of the best resources to work with.

Cons

Their view on making money seems a bit off. The stand-point: if you just keep trying something new, get rid off people you think don't suit the company without actually going in-depth and trying to learn and connect with your employees just seems from a company stand-point doomed to fail. Either you're in, or you're out mentality and I had some experiences of colleague(s) trying to use me for their own career-benefits, which wasn't dealt with properly. High churning rate of employees. Extremely horrible working hours, to the point of technically being illegal, (I'm not certain about that, but I think that's the case with 60+ hr workweeks and 25+ consecutive working hours in one go doesn't seem right) Very little time for employees to learn something new. (Which often results in just sticking with what's known, or you have to learn in rest-time) The company will do everything to make the most out of you, but is short-sighted in terms of gains.
