Pros

People you meet in training. Free coffee

Cons

-Trainers have favourites and if you aren’t one of the favourites you don’t get as much support as others. Same goes for when you are in your teams. Managers have clear favourites within their teams and make it quite clear. -Advertised as 40% working form office and has now changed to 60%- wasn’t mentioned at tye interview this was likely to change. - they make a big thing about empowerment and being able to make decisions for yourself but when you do you get told off for it! - Whole process for quality calls is ridiculous- they only mark a few calls a month but you don’t know what calls they have marked- just the ranking- so if it’s just an acceptable call there is no way for you to know what call it is or how you can improve- you don’t get feedback just the call ranking. You are just told you have to go with your gut on whether it was a good call or not. They keep going on about 24/7 development and expect you to spend time outside of working hours or on your lunch listening to your own calls to develop rather than being given time in work hours. It’s long days without spending time doing this. Stupid department days where you have to go into the office and each time you have to move to a different place. They are great if you aren’t on the phone- if you are on the phone it’s the same old day just watching management walk around having fun doing activities. Managers often read messages and don’t respond (if you aren’t one of their favourites) Probation isn’t spoke about during training- the stress is causing in the last few weeks is ridiculous. Overall the job caused me so much stress and actually made me ill. Pay is very high compared to other call centre jobs but it’s not worth it.
