Pros

The pro in this organisation which attracts me to join the organisation was culture. But, unfortunately it is becoming the worst due to top management people lack of vision and lack of leadership skills. So honestly I don't see any pros in Mordor as of now.

Cons

I had served this organisation for years, and one odd day I was laid off, no explanation, no valid reason, just informed over a call, didn't even given a chance to speak. What is happening in this organisation is the company is investing heavily in AI and still the model is literally of no use. Still, management forces to use AI to draft marketing collaterals, proposals and even full fledged research reports. This lead to multiple issues, it suddenly increase the operating cost of company, AI didn't help anyway to boost the web ranking hence no leads are dropping. Secondly, whatever projects gets in are completely prepared by AI with almost zero human intervention in qualitative analysis which decreased the quality and worsen the client retention rate. Since, the whole report is prepared by AI, now I've heard that they are planning to generate the whole report in ppt format with both qualitative and quantitative analysis, this will further persist and even increase the ongoing issues and further layoffs are also expected. The most unethical practice are that research team are mandatory to generate reports by AI, but we are not allowed to say this to client. Recently the company has also delayed the payment of bonus of the last quarter which eventually justified that something is fishy on top level. Research Director, "Vivek" knows all the issue but he had no idea of how to deal with this, instead he is capable enough to funnel down the responsibility and keep him in safe state. He is capable enough to make feel anyone in the research team that he is not more than a slave, threaten to terminate, questions competency and everything else to make you feel responsible for everything bad happening in company or team. The whole HR team is nothing more than management's puppet, from HR associate to HR Director, no one is in a position to take stand for the employees, and just simply passing the instructions coming from managers or management people. This company has believed that they don't need humans or need very less of them, and working in the same way to reduce the team size and that is well they are digging for the employees initially and for the company later on. ~54 employees who had served for years and has recognized multiple times, recieved multiple awards for the work excellence has been laid off in one go with no genuine reasons. Just because company don't want to take a hit on his bottom line and the management didn't wanted to be responsible for their mismanagement.
