Unprofessional work environment but great opportunity

Pros

- strong brand name means most newsmakers are happy to grant access - broad range of subject matter - opportunity to dabble in different formats—print mag, radio/podcast, book publishing -lots of travel -great first job that led to other fantastic career opportunities

Cons

-racist environment where we’re told not to pitch stories from China or India -everything was up to Tyler’s whim -bullying environment cultivated by Tyler
