Pros

Some nice, smart people. Downtown location is pleasant.

Cons

There are a few bullies in management that everyone is aware of, but does nothing. Communication on company goals is few and far between. Benefits are mediocre at best for the industry. Nepotism is prevalent so it’s hard to move up unless you are the son of an executive. Others have commented on micromanagement which is true.

Don't go to HR

Pros

Every supervisor I have for the rest of my career will be better than the one I had here.

Cons

Bullied and targeted. HR's response to my original post was that I should go to HR with my issues od a supervisor who was a bully and acted worse than a jigh school mean girl. I did go to HR and was fired tje very same day for a reason that my supervisor fabricated and plotted for weeks. I heard it all because she would spend a good portion of her day whispering to her lead and didn't think ahe could be heard. Stay away from this company. I have never experienced such horrible horrible treatment from any employer I have ever had. DO NOT TURN DOWN OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK HERE BECAUSE IF THEY DON"T LIKE YOU IT WILL BECOME VERY TARGETED AND YOU WILL BE ATTACKED PERSONALLY AND THEN FIRED BECAUSE YOU "DIDN'T MEET PERFORMANCE STANDARDS" and they will make sure you don"t because they will find error in everthing you do. They break you down by telling you that peoplle don't like you and other attacks on you personally. No constructive feedback was ever provided, only telling me how I offended people or that my feedback was neither wanted or needed. I know this is hard to believe because if I hadn't experienced it firsthand, I probably wouldn't believe that a supervisor actually treated new employees this horribly and hadn't caused legal issues for Moda. But, since HR seems to be just as bad, there's your answer.

Pros

If you can get up in the morning and work entirely from a manual without a word to anyone in regard to your position. Go for it. For me, I like the comfort of knowing what i'm doing and if I'm doing it right. They won't accommodate for different learning styles and prefer you learn completely independently. Nice lunch rooms, cool desk gifts.

Cons

Very vapid staffing, makes a very uncomfortable learning environment, I was actually let go for, " not being quick enough and asking too many questions." Which was a bit of a damper because I had to learn everything independently. If you work downtown too, the company charges 13.50 for parking a day.
