Pros

There are no pros for a company who plans and works to rip off field rep. The owner and president is to old and has no interest in the company other than being a jip there are NO pros in this company or for this company. ADVICE TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT WORKING FOR THESE GUYS --DO NOT DO IT RUN, RUN, RUN.

Cons

The company pay is one of the lowest in the insurance business, they will adjust your billing and pay what they think it is worth. They do not pay travel pay, gas, oil ware tear on your car, computer costs, supplies, The company has at best a poor training program and computer system that is very hard to navigate through. The management of the company is only interested in getting work done and ripping of rep's, very high turn over.

Pros

Work from home with minimum supervision. See interesting businesses, meet people, travel your state, home at night. Good work if you don't need much money.

Cons

Many miles on your car with no regular mileage reimbursement. Jobs are spread out too far. More jobs out of town than in town. Reports are very time consuming after you visit the location.

Field inspectors receive commission-based pay; they are paid per inspection and their mileage reimbursements correspond to whether their inspections are in urban, suburban or rural locations. We also do reimburse separately for travel outside the inspectors' regular territory. It is important to schedule trips effectively, to take advantage of our office resources, and to complete the reports promptly in order to maximize earning potential.

Pros

Plenty of time available to find a real job, especially when first hired as you are limited to 25 hours per week of work. If there are not enough inspections coming in, you are sent home with no hours worked.

Cons

Production standards are unrealistic: 3.4 billing hours for each hour worked without missing any mistakes, which is hard since contractor inspectors have variable abilities to do quality work. If the software was easier to work with, and inspector turnove wasn't so high, this standard would be more realistic. Even though the number of inspections in the queue are low, they still advertise for more inspector reviewers, which doesn't promote job security for existing inspectors.
