Amazing team culture and great professional development
Pros
Great work environment with very supportive managers and engineering leaders. Even while working in Fort St. John, I had the opportunity to collaborate with engineers from the Lower Mainland and learn from their experience, which added a lot of value to my development. This is a very good company for early-career growth in geotechnical engineering. I was able to gain hands-on experience in project management, proposal writing, and client communication. The team is patient with the learning process and truly supports professional development. They also provide strong support for the EIT process and encourage growth toward obtaining your P.Eng, which makes a big difference for young engineers starting their careers.
Cons
Like many companies, there can be periods with fewer projects available. Additionally, most projects tend to be small to medium in size, so opportunities to work on larger or more complex projects may be limited depending on the branch.
