- The company really seems stuck in the 1980s. The whole vibe and structure just screams it. Old management strategies, old technology, old people.
- Not much PTO. A combined 18 sick and vacation per year to start.
- Long work hours and no overtime. The managers love to say “this is not a 9-5 job” (when it’s already 8-4:45). Expected to work late and come in on weekends if your work is behind, which happens often due to high workload or if you take time off.
- Very old systems make doing a simple task much more difficult.
- Most/all of the managers are pretty old and implement old school strategies. Very slow to adapt and change.
- Very strict on paying out claims, sometimes you feel bad for the claimant. Other companies have much more lax policies.
- HR is unprofessional and not very helpful.
- Lots of gossip that goes around.
- Schedule isn’t very flexible.
- The training program was easily the worst I’ve ever experienced. No formal program, lots of “on the job training” where you’re just expected to figure it out for yourself.
