Pros

Good salary and benefits. If you want space this is the job for you. The office is abandoned because no one can stand to be there.

Cons

Upper management has no idea how to run a business. The CEO/president (or whatever she calls herself these days) got her position through her father and is clueless and can’t be bothered to come in the office. She works from home 90% of the time and is impossible to contact making it impossible for the company to function. They just have endless team meetings all day long and get nothing accomplished. med Metrix is better of off without this glorified collection agency. The few favorites get credit for other people’s work. Worst place I have ever worked for.

Difficult Environment

Pros

Easy access to Rt 287 and the co-workers who did manage to stay longer than a year were pleasant to work with.

Cons

Very micromanaged and no room for advancement unless you know the right person in the company. Nepotism was also evident within upper management.

Toxic work culture

Business outlook

Pros

1. Exposure to High-Pressure Environments Working in a challenging or politically charged environment often strengthens emotional resilience, crisis management, and adaptability — valuable traits in leadership roles. 2. Broad Cross-Functional Experience Toxic cultures sometimes blur role boundaries, forcing employees to wear multiple hats (DevOps, QA, BA, PM). That can accelerate learning across departments and systems. 3. Improved People-Reading & Conflict-Resolution Skills Navigating difficult personalities or inconsistent leadership helps sharpen emotional intelligence and diplomatic communication — critical for future management success.

Cons

1. Poor Leadership Transparency & Accountability Frequent blame-shifting, lack of ownership from upper management, and inconsistent priorities can cause burnout and mistrust among teams. 2. Micromanagement & Lack of Psychological Safety Team members may feel they can’t speak up or make mistakes without retaliation, stifling innovation and reducing productivity. 3. Unbalanced Workload & Recognition Gaps High performers are often overburdened without fair acknowledgment or growth opportunities, while favoritism or politics dictate rewards.

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. While experiences may vary across teams, the themes you’ve raised—around transparency, management style, workload balance, and recognition—are important and taken seriously. We recognize that in fast-moving environments, communication and clarity don’t always meet the standard we expect. We are actively working to improve how leadership shares context behind decisions and aligns priorities across teams. We also acknowledge the concern around micromanagement and psychological safety. Our goal is to empower teams with clear outcomes and ownership, and we are reinforcing this through manager training and clearer expectations around team autonomy and respectful feedback.

Pros

Pros about the company is that they were very patient at making sure that you understood the system. Nice co-workers and upper management. Depending on what department you work in there is available overtime.

Cons

Different departments deal with different clients. Inadequate training given to upper management from clients to train us associates on the process or system. There was a lot of back and forth with how to do the work. So we would be told to do one thing and then later told that it was the wrong way to do it later. There's was a lot of I don't know that's just the way the system works which was very frustrating at trying to figure out how to do work.

Pros

Good salary. No bonus though

Cons

Everything else. From HR to Managers to Upper Management. It is not a company where one grows more does the company itself. It Nicole and dimes EVERYTHING. Plus they ask you to work, but the "older tenured" folks hog everything to themselves. You go in thinking you'll be contributing and they sideline you. WORST job I EVER had in my life.
