The actual productions workers on the floor are very good hard working people to work with.
Cons
The Supervisor and most of the leads are uneducated hillbilly types that can't see past the color of one's skin to see any potential benefit the person may bring. The boss came down from Chicago and I though ok maybe this guy will see the problems try to fix it. Well he is no better than the group of hillbilly leaders he has in place. It's a workmen's comp claim paradise...if you're into that type of thing. I am not.
Rock solid manufacturing company. Truly believes in regulatory compliance, safety, quality and customer service. They are privately owned, so people really are an asset to them. They are an international company that supplies product to all types of industries, so they are nearly recession proof.
Cons
Way to quick to shuffle executive management to solve operational issues and no one from corporate management talks to plant level management. As Plant Manager, I had 4 bosses in 2 years and saw them send the best sales rep they had for my product line out of Houston area, the biggest market. Then, no one noticed that well over half of my business was from his new territory.
