Pros
Great people work at the company and all start out very enthusiastically! Training offered was great. Team work at the grass roots level was solid. A great first job for many and career progression is great.
Cons
The CEO only listens to the CFO which provides a very narrow perspective. The company has lost its way due to an overly top heavy structure and a failure to listen to the grassroots. "Outsiders" have been hired over the years to provide new perspectives but almost all have been "let-go" as not a cultural fit - this seems to be a critical problem when an organization can't or won't listen to advice and feedback from qualified individuals who have industry experience. Health and Safety is marginalized owing to the fact that it is not owned by the executive other than in words not in action. Project Management is still inconsistent. Processes and procedures are needed to provide consistently superior performance.
