Small Company With Great Potential, Held Back by Management

Pros

Great experience, decent pay, great people to work with, work on some awesome programs that you won't see any where else on the planet

Cons

Management is crazy, the owner is prone to paranoid borderline manic behavior tendancies. It is almost impossible to get the owner to invest money in the company, it took almost 3 years for them to purchase a proper metrology tool.

Good pay while you're there. if you last.

Cons

Unbelievable turnover both hourly and salary. Top manager drives them out. Revenue over safety, quality, morale. Constantly adding new business without facilities or people to meet obligations. Guaranteed Matrix is due for an implosion within a year or two as all the over-committing catches up and costs them legacy and new customers. Dont make long term plans for a future at Matrix

Good benefits, excellent and intelligent people (operators and professional staff) within the teams across the organization, positive customers who work with Matrix to grow their business relations and contracts

Cons

Abysmal hiring in the areas of upper management. Near juvenile leadership styles by upper management creates hostile work environment across entire company. Most recently departed Site Leader destroyed internal camaraderie and company identity. Little/no opportunity for upward mobility. Dedicated ITT HR team may be worst department in the aerospace industry.
