Pros

When you first get hired at this place, you will actually feel as if this is the best job you have ever had. lol. keep working there and you will feel discriminated on I promise.

Cons

Management is chosen by friends. If you are Gay or fit into an in group, you can get promotions. If you are different from them they will demote you and lie about your performance, play with your intelligence, and fire you on paid time off, and lie saying that you are insubordination so you can't get your unemployment. I pray that someone can take them to court, and receive the justice they need, cause I tried everything to stand up for my rights, and I couldn't get nowhere. God will use somebody to do the job I promise cause what's done in the dark will soon receive light.

Pros

The hiring process was very fast due to low employee count

Cons

Much of what goes on in this company is racially motivated. African Americans, for the most part, are treated like dumb creatures. Even when one of color is totally qualified for a higher position, the likelihood of them actually getting it because the adundance of racism on the supervisory level.

Pros

Weekly check. Room for promotion. Luncheons for employees. Vending Machine perks. Variety Food trucks. Training classes provided to tech II’s and above. 4 day work schedules. Employee of the Month.

Cons

Working at Material in Motion was an experience that I could never forget. I’ve had to share in being overlooked for promotions when I was well-qualified, spoken down to from Management with no changed behaviour and most importantly working in an hostile environment. Material in Motion’s policies and procedures are not in tact and is unlike any other workplace I’ve worked at prior. A lot of the individuals here create their own hidden agendas. The Human Resources Manager does not keep files, personal information, or any sensitive documents confidential—it’s all spread out in the office for all to see. There’s pure favouritism with the Managers that have been at the company for a while. There’s a reprimand for employees but management is not held to that same standard. I was terminated after being with the company for a while after I spoke with HR about a manager that treated me unfairly while being on the team. This has happened to very many and it happened to me when I least expected it. Please please do your homework before working for this company. It looks very enticing from the outside world but inside it’s very cold. Have other plans for your life and don’t solely depend on the one income.
