The biggest problem is the culture at the highest level. You are not valuable unless you work in sales at this organization and then if you are in sales, they will chase you when you leave and hold your commissions if they think your new company has anything remotely close to one of their products.
To give a specific example of the culture you will encounter, you and your colleagues will be berated by commercial team members without any repercussions. You will be told by upper management safety and people matter, but during Covid before a vaccine was even available, people were forced to put their physical office presence in a spreadsheet, and not for the purpose of controlling the number of people in the office, but to ensure they could lay eyes on the office staff. There is a perception in the organization that people aren't working if management can't see them despite all the hurdles the staff overcame for this company during Covid and their divestiture from BASF.
