Pros

The pay is decent, the location is decent.

Cons

The leadership of this company is very risk-averse -- and also cheap. There is no plan for how to improve the business model, which is based on a 20th Century premise: research various industries and write in-depth reports that are then sold to investors. Nowadays, anyone with a hi-speed internet connection can do their own research on an industry.

Pros

Autonomous, independent workload. Company encouraged productivity as well as hard workers.

Cons

Caliber of some individuals is below entry-level, and HR screening not thorough. Most were young kids, with little to no experience, and just collecting a paycheck. Difficulty when there is a more mature, proactive worker willing to get the job done. Little to no promotion from some positions other than Sales, would recommend Project Manager or more D/H positions other than just one VP position overall.

Pros

There are great benefits (health insurance, 401K matching contribution, company-wide uniform PTO policy, and free life insurance coverage as long as you are employed with company and a ton of opt-in benefits) to start with. The best perk this year was the “Summer Hours” program which allows employees to take alternate Fridays OFF all summer long. The work environment is very casual, friendly and flexible. There is a lot of room to learn as employees are not restricted to specific roles.

Cons

Keeping up with technology was not proactive enough in the past but things are falling in place and moving in the right direction.
