Pros

- Flexible remote work policy - Strong (ambitious) company mission

Cons

- Management Issues: Poor leadership and lack of transparency from upper management. Decisions often made by Sales execs feel arbitrary and poorly communicated. - Workload: Unrealistic expectations and excessive workload without adequate support or resources. Constant pressure to meet deadlines without consideration for quality or employee well-being. Marker is LITERALLY WORKING OUT OF EXCEL SHEETS! No privacy for student information - people literally email each other their SSNs, studnet address', other PII with no regard. - Career Growth: Limited opportunities for career advancement or professional development. Promotions are rare and not based on merit. There is a very cliquey atmosphere between CEO, COO and Head of Sales, very "bro" culture. - Culture: Despite claims of a positive company culture, the reality is far from it. There is a significant disconnect between management's promises and the actual work environment. Employee concerns and feedback are often ignored and weekly All Hands Meetings are overly positive with no mention of how to approach points of improvement If you can work someplace else, you should - don't be fooled by the ooey gooey feel good mission, it will cost you your work/life balance. Marker is a sinking ship
