This job was literally the worst. First off, we are managed by other servers who became managers because the boss liked them. No managing experience. The restaurant is tiny and gets busy fast, but most days its slow unless you're working weekend nights. People will steal your tables. Ive had homeless people come in the restaurant and ask my customers for money while they're sitting down eating. The pay is terrible. You make an average on $40-50 a day and get $2 an hour. You get paid in cash since everything is under the table. No paperwork, no application, no W-2s, nothing. Last summer the AC was broken for 2 weeks and we had to serve in 96 degree weather all day. No fans, no portable AC's were brought in until 5 days later.Management is TERRIBLE, communication is terrible. The boss, Tru is not a bad guy he just has terrible people run his restaurant.
