Pros

MX is a great software- clients love it and generally are great to work with. Some teams have really fun dynamic, particularly those that are in-office.

Cons

There is VERY little diversity at this company, in literally every single facet. This leads to severe limitations in internal discussions, support, trainings, and overall company culture. Overall, the culture of this company is oversold to people going through the hiring process. This is the classic: "we are a family" startup, with unfortunately nothing to back this up.

Pros

A solid place to begin your career. If you're well connected with leadership, there is some flexibility to move into different roles, even ones that don't match the position you were originally hired for If you value hard technical skills and are comfortable going above and beyond your pay grade, this environment rewards exactly that. However, if your strengths lie in interpersonal skills or EQ, those may be brushed off as “therapy” and not treated with the same respect.

Cons

Not ideal for long-term career growth. The environment shifted significantly after new leadership came in. Pay is below market. The company sells a strong values-driven culture to new hires, but the reality becomes much more political over time. The shift is subtle at first, but impossible to miss once you're in deeper. Job security can depend heavily on who you know. If you have strong internal allies, you're likely safe. Otherwise, there's a risk of being let go without warning, feedback, PIP, and sometimes even without HR involved. Keep your differences to yourself. In my own experience, my panic attacks were dismissed as being “too emotional,” and somehow being fast at my job was treated like a problem lol

CEO sends all company emails saying things that make no sense There's pretty obvious sexual discrimination Why hire people that are qualified if you won't let them do their job without micromanaging every detail? Leadership is scared to do anything. Overall company has zero trust in employees, has bad practices,
