      Good faith relationship with employer spoiled by having salary slashed witout warning.

      Pros

      Not many in hindsight. I left a secure job to work with MTS after negotiating a fair salary with them. After 5 years and having received excellent performance reviews MTS informed me that my salary would be reduced by over 30% and I could not expect any performance based salary increases in the future. No credible justification was given.

      Company failed to honor negotiated salary agreement.

      Didn't need a security clearance. The company contracts to NASA and is involved in interesting projects.

      Cut throat work environment at the corporate level.

      They are very hands off and offer competitive benefits compared to other sub-contractors on the contract. They are also small but growing steadily.

      Cons

      Their HR is in Alabama and it can be difficult to get their attention for various things.
