      Very negative experience, poor management and toxic culture

      1. terrible direct manager that is intransparent, stealing credits and not supportive 2. team culture environment is toxic, staff only think about their only credits 3. high turn over rate 4. unreasonable target and junior sales suffers

      Thank you for taking your time to write your review, we appreciate honest feedback. We are striving to create a working environment where everybody has a workload they are able to manage. We at MSCI evaluate managers annually based on their engagement scores and their ability to retain talented employees. All employees have the opportunity to give anonymous feedback to managers though our engagement survey. In addition, we would encourage employees to share their feedback with their local HR Generalist.

      If you settle for mediocrity, MSCI may be the place for you

      There are not a whole lot ... Well, decent work/life balance, however, that depends on which team you're on. 20 days of paid vacation was nice ... and the perks pretty much end there.

      Cons

      Top-heavy for sure. Relentless cost cutting is definitely taking a toll on the current staff. Just because you can hire five warm bodies in EMC with the same salary for one in DMC, it does not mean those five can perform up to par. Promotions hardly depend on merit. If you're mediocre (or even a slacker), you may still get to become an officer if you are patient and play your cards right. This was not hypothetical. It actually happened during my time with the company.
