Pros

Coaching is great, and we all do it because we love it. Most of the runners are great, and even if they come in on the defense having had a bad day, the reason they're there is to turn it around, so you're in a pretty good position to be coaching someone who WANTS to have a good day.

Cons

The guys running the company treat the coaches like dispensable pieces in their money-making game with no consideration to the fact that we're humans working to earn a living in a human-driven industry. The business is a perfect example of arrogant men thinking that everyone should be grateful to bow down and bend over to work for them and that everyone should be grateful for pizza and stale free kombucha leftover from past failures of special events as compensation instead of properly paying them or setting fair expectations for their time.

Pros

I got to coach some great people over my 4+ years there.

Cons

Hostile work environment, the employees are not heard or supported, no integrity, pay has literally decreased to 50% of what it was for the coaches when the studio opened in 2014.
