Do not work here

Pros

This could be a decent place as an entry level position.

Cons

There are some employees that have been there a long time who do not like change. If you suggest anything that they don't agree with or do not like, they will fight you and start spreading bad information about you. They would not let me do my job. It is not a very professional place to work.

Pros

Multiple different projects that can be worked on. No sick days for salaried employees. Minimal micromanagement. Keep your head down and do your work reasonably, and you are fairly safe.

Cons

Management - Can’t get out of their own way. You can show them why something should be done a certain way, based on industry experience, and it’ll most likely go unnoticed until it’s too late and then they try to blame you for why you didn’t urge them more sooner. Tribal Knowledge - A certain few people know most of the processes but refuse to share until they can be the hero. Lots of not-my-jobs. Moving Up - Next to impossible, even if you are a high performer, but then you are too valuable to move up. And as a high performer, you get most of the problems to deal with. Reactive - The word proactive doesn’t exist here. Follow Through - Lots of promises, minimal execution. Benefits - Some, but not great, and only the bare minimum. Currently there is a consulting company trying to help turn things around, but there is no change other than to put the lipstick on the pig until they are gone or the next investment company buys them. They have lost lots of valuable people lately, and they haven’t backfilled one position that wasn’t management.

Mass Transit is a mess

Pros

Mostly friendy people to work with.

Cons

Certain senior members as well as managers lack leadership abilities. They are extremely insecure and look for ways to either yell or talk down to team members. They play petty little games to access blame on fellow team members to project their status amongst other team members. New salaried employees do not stay here for very long due to these reasons.
