Formerly SMS Assist LLC, this company is a complete joke. Management thinks that their title holds all the weight regardless if they are incompetent in their position. They speak to their staff disrespectfully. They lie to their employees about bonus/raises. They lie to their vendor base about payments and try to stiff them out of their money every chance they get which creates a bad name for the company by word of mouth among current and potential vendors. Upper management is way too involved in lower level work which diminishes the supposed weight of their title and effectiveness. Unrealistic expectations. They exploit loop holes like salary pay with 8 months of mandatory OT and bailed out on paying people earned PTO by switching to Unlimited PTO to which they WILL deny your requests. Practically no raises. No positive encouragement. No career development. Lots of turnover. Lack of proven processes' and poor pay scale. This is not a place where you can grow.

The company is plagued by a corrupt culture and nepotism within upper management. There is a blatant disregard for transparency, fairness and integrity. Decision making is often arbitrary and driven by personal connections rather than merit. In an era where technology enables countless job functions to be performed remotely its disappointing to see a company opting to place its staff in dangerous situations (Downtown Chicago). The company’s compensation structure leaves much to be desired with low pay and a lack of opportunities for cAreer advancement. If you are contemplating joining this company, it is advisable to set a personal timeframe, learn all that you can, and leave around 2 years. They currently follow a hybrid schedule but are planning to transition to a full 5 day work week in the near future.
