Pros
Strong product portfolio, market leader. Favourable market conditions, loyal customer base and genuinely passionate, loyal workforce (at lower levels). Good office location. Interesting, growing industry.
Cons
Lack of transparency, crass redundancies done for cost savings, and an unsustainable, short term sales focus with under resourced back end operations. While leadership has a clear vision, middle management lack accountability and are unable to make useful change. Board more interested in quick profits than good business. Stuck in the habit of 'how things used to be done' making it hard for new comers. Generally low moral and motivation.
